It’s Cate Blanchett’s birthday! We wanted to wish her a beautiful day. She is one of our favorite actresses and people in the world. She is a great example of a star. She puts her family first, her craft is more important than the hype of hollywood, and she dresses elegantly and fearlessly. Cheers to her!
Nicole Kidman will be playing Grace Kelly in a new biopic. It will show her first year as a princess, as she has left Hollywood behind and embraces her new role. Although Nicole is 45, and Kelly was 32 at the time this movie is set, I still will be front row for the movies premiere (date still to be determined). Nicole is a great actress and will most likely do the roll justice. The web is full of haters, big surprise, but at the end of the day who could really be better? No one comes to mind and in my opinion, no one has a more complete package than Ms. Kidman.

Or at least I am pretty sure I’m going to love the motion picture, The Great Gatsby, starring the ever charming Leonardo DiCarprio, the lovely Carey Mulligan and directed by the talented Baz Luhrmann.
