Since coming on the scene a few short years ago, I’ve always felt that Haute Hippie added something SO unique and refreshing to the fashion world, and now I know why. Trish Westcoat Pound. Formerly Trish Westcoat, a single-mom, putting everything on the line: financially; emotionally; and physically; to create this unique casual-chic apparel. You can’t help but marvel at such courage!
Trish was no new-comer to the fashion-industry, and had been a top executive at several reputable apparel companies. With brains, talent, and a genuine cool ‘hippie-like’ attitude, Haute Hippie was bound to succeed.
Trish graced Nordstrom South Coast Plaza with her presence at her very own HH Haute Hippie Styling Event a couple of weeks ago, and while interviewing – or more like, enjoying hanging out with her and her posse – I discovered firsthand, that Trish Westcoat Pound, exudes kindness and peace-lovingness, often found in the quintessential ‘hippie.’ Trish made her ‘shoppers’ feel stunning and special in her HH-wares, and most likely fans for life.
She is a self-proclaimed homebody, who also enjoys the ease of the Hamptons on weekends with her new hubby and beautiful daughter. She joked at the fact that, although she has created several glamorous gowns, donning one is a rarity…except when playing ‘dress-up’ in her office to confirm its glamorousness!!
Truly a ‘breath of fresh air,’ this interview, with this darling gal, was one of my faves!
